I am receiving an "Ini file is corrupt" or "Database Error" message when I try to use ODBC database connection with .csv or .txt files. How can I fix this problem?

Some users of MDAC 2.8 will encounter an error message that says:
Ini File (or Registry) FilePath\schema.ini is corrupt.

Note: FilePath is a placeholder for the path of the folder that contains the Schema.ini file on your computer.

Microsoft has issued a fix for this problem and it is available for download on their web site.
