Can I use CODESOFT 7 or higher to create an ISO 8601 date stamp?
CODESOFT 7 and higher have the ability to create ISO 8601 date stamps. To create an ISO 8601 date stamp, do the following:
  1. Open CODESOFT. In the document browser, right-click on the Date option and select Add to create a new date variable.

  2. Right-click on the new date variable and select Variable Properties.

  3. The Date variable Properties dialog box will open. Scroll to the bottom of the list and select the <Customized> option. Two boxes will appear in the bottom of the window. Click the down arrow in the box on the right and scroll down to the WW option.

  4. When you are finished with the date variable configuration, the dialog box will look like the one shown below. Click OK to exit the Date Variable Properties dialog box.

  5. To add the ISO date to your label, drag the date variable you created from the document browser to the label. When you release the mouse button, a menu will appear, offering you the option to drop the variable as a Text, Barcode or Image object. In this example, we will use the Text option.

  6. The ISO 8601 date will appear on your label. Congratulations! You have created an ISO 8601 Date stamp using CODESOFT.
